Expanding UK business moves to Water Plus

Choosing Water Plus for its excellent customer service.

A growing multi-site operator, with 80 sites in England and Scotland, has partnered with national business water retailer Water Plus to drive forward its market and industry presence.

“We pride ourselves in working closely with the UK’s leading supplier partners, which helps us achieve and provide market-leading service to our customers combined with operational efficiency, so Water Plus was a clear choice as our business water partner, due to its excellent customer services.”

Sunil Tandon, Managing Director at Park Garage Group (PGG)

The Challenge

A trusted partnership for advancing water management

Park Garage Group, which also operates Park & Shop at all its sites has already introduced Bakery 79 at 12 of its locations in 2025 with 30 more planned by the end of 2026.

They needed a business water partner that delivers excellent customer-centric services, with the knowledge and track record of success on proactive water management.

Sunil Tandon, Managing Director at Park Garage Group (PGG), said: “We already look closely at our utility use, though we needed a partner with the experience and successes in project delivery to move this to the next level.

“As a responsible business we watch our water use and strive to make better use of water, as part of our sites being in and contributing to communities where they are based.”

The solution

Proactive water management in action

The partnership work included increasing water efficiencies, which are also helping to build operational resilience for the growing portfolio.

Leaks on underground pipework and a wall tap leak were located and repaired at three Park Garages, in October 2025, through the Advanced Services team at Water Plus.

The sites were also provided with additional information on managing water use at the locations and risk reduction actions to take, as well as alerting the customer to a hosepipe connection leaking when being used.

Emma Goodwin, a Key Account Manager at Water Plus who has been working with Park Garage Group, said: “It’s great to be working with a such a big and well-known customer who is very proactive on not only monitoring their water use but knows the positive difference an excellent water partner can bring to the table and make. We’re exploring a number of areas to help this business to achieve its goals and aims.”

The results

Driving efficiency and operational resilience

The partnership with Water Plus has already saved tens of thousands of litres of water, with further projects planned to increase efficiencies and find fresh opportunities for new approaches around water use.

Joint work with Park Garage Group, who has moved all their sites to Water Plus, has also built operational resilience, by reducing risks in the last year.

  • In 2026, a water efficiency of 1,800 litres an hour was identified at one of the locations, which could save £51,000 in estimated annual wholesaler costs. The water-saving was achieved in work completed during the same site visit in 2026.

  • During another visit to a separate site in May 2026, a further 1,740 litres an hour water-saving was investigated, with reports on next steps and key actions provided to the customer.

  • More than 340 litres of water, an hour, was also saved across three other sites visited in 2025 in the South East of England. The amount of water would fill more than 1,300 cups of coffee, holding 250ml each, every 60 minutes.

“We’re really impressed with the difference the Water Plus approach and its skilled team are already making to our business operations and its customer support has been excellent. Their insight and industry knowledge has made managing our expanding portfolio and business requirements easy."

“We’ve already achieved some substantial gains, helping efficiency in our operations and Water Plus will help to unlock the further potential at our sites and in our business to help us grow in the future, with improved water management more sustainability embedded into our sites.”
