Hotel group saves water and stays with Water Plus

A hotel group which provides top-rated rooms and facilities for hundreds of guests, is partnering with Water Plus, following the customer service it’s seeing.

Choice Hotels, which operates five sites, has been with national business water retailer Water Plus for a number of years. They track their water use, noting meter readings and provide these through the MyAccount portal, provided by Water Plus.

Its 163-room Cliffs Hotel, which also has a swimming pool, leisure centre and gym, has also taken water-saving steps in 2025, with an estimated saving of 4,529 litres of water a day. Small water-saving devices were installed after the contact and engagement approach with Water Plus.

The hotel joined more than 3,600 Water Plus customers, including business sites, top flight sports clubs, schools and academies, a manufacturer and food and drink providers that have been helped to save water to cut running costs in 2025, from taking some small and easy steps with their water.

“We’re staying with Water Plus due to the great customer service we’re seeing. Our current account manager Emma Goodwin helps us with our account, with any queries dealt with in a professional and efficient manner.

“We’ve also seen both the service and communication improve beyond words for both contract renewals and day to day account management in the last 12 to 18 months, which helps us to focus on delivering for our guests and business.”
