Our Services

Putting plans in place to cope with supply interruptions.

Water is vital to the running of almost every organisation whether it's for business processes, drinking water and welfare facilities for people on-site.

Supply interruptions happen

Over the last year there have been over 52,547 main water bursts in the UK, with 1,771 lasting longer than 12 hours. Burst-pipes-16-17.PNG

It’s still the responsibility of the wholesaler to provide a continuous supply of good quality water to business customers, they have a target to restore mains water within 3 hours, however they work on a best endeavours basis and priority is given to domestic users and sensitive sites such as hospitals, care homes and prisons.

Would your business be affected if your water supply was interrupted?

If your water supply was interrupted for an extended period would your site have to close? For many organisations this could have financial implications, particularly these who use water as part of their production process. You might incur penalties for missed deadlines on contractual commitments. It can also cause logistical issues for organisations with large numbers of people on-site such as universities, hospitals, retail outlets and hospitality.
