To help grass-roots sports clubs in Scotland save money, water retailer Water Plus has launched a competition for them to win water-saving devices.
It’s specifically for under 16’s sports clubs, is free to enter and the closing date for entries is 30 October, 2019.
It’s easy to enter, clubs just need to email email@example.com, and explain, in less than 150 words, how they’d benefit from water-saving devices.
Scott MacIndeor, Head of Advanced Services at Water Plus, who works with sports and community groups and businesses in Scotland, said: “As we’ve got people working across Scotland connecting with and supporting the communities where we’re working, we want to support Scottish sports clubs in saving money, by saving water. You can make savings of 20-30% on every day water use costs, just by fitting the right water-saving devices.
“In our competition, up to three Scottish sports clubs will win water-saving aerated shower heads, fitted by our experts. So, whether you’ve already got water-saving initiatives in place, or you’re new to the world of saving water, we want to hear about it and we want to help.”
Entries for the competition can also be made through Twitter, using @waterplusb2b in your tweet.
The competition is open to sites, including council-owned parks with changing facilities, professional clubs and amateur clubs in Scotland that provide sports activities for young people aged 16 and under.
