We’re excited to announce that we’ll be attending the Energy Live Consultancy Conference, once again taking place in Manchester’s Etihad Stadium on the 22nd March. We’re quickly approaching the first anniversary of the English water market opening to competition and we’ll be taking the opportunity to review the progress. We’ll be speaking in a number of session over the course of the day where we’ll talk about how the new market has performed, what trends we’re seeing within the sector as well as give advice on how you can add water to your portfolio.
Energy Live News events are a great chance for brokers and consultants to collectively discuss the big issues and challenges affecting brokers and network with utilities providers and peers alike.

You’ll find Water Plus representative taking part in different sessions throughout the day.
Presented by Tony McHardy, Water Plus Corporate Director and Christopher Quinn, Kinect Energy Water Services Director
In this session, Tony will take to the stage with Water Services Director, Christopher Quinn from Kinect Energy. Together they’ll talk you through a true water retailer and broker partnership. Topics they’ll cover include:
As well as this, Tony will take a look at the water market 12 months on, with a focus on the market landscape, trends, how he sees the market developing and the challenges of a new market.
Presented by Kevin Barefoot, Water Plus Corporate Regional Business Manager
Water margins are tight, on average the market are seeing savings between 0-2% by negotiating a water contract. Compare that to the 5-8% savings we’re typically seeing customers make by being more efficient and you can see why customers should be taking a closer look at efficiency saving plans. In this session Kevin will explore the different ways the Water Plus Advanced Service Team have reduced their customers water consumption, and in turn, reduced their overall spend.
Kevin will discuss the benefit to the customer but also how we can work with you to sell these services and expand your business.

If you’d like to talk to us about how we can work together, you’ll find our Water Experts in the main hall of the conference all day, come along and say hello.
Last year was our first ELCC as Water Plus – we spent most of the day speaking in the water section of the conference, that’s after our Corporate Director, Tony McHardy took part in the introduction panel. Watch last year's panel discussion here.
